Happy Spring

It rolls around so quickly! 3/4 of the way through the year and everything is leaping back to life.

We've been in our home for 7 months now (after Wwoofing our way around the planet - more about this later) and getting ourselves into farmer mode.

We have a bit of space to play with, so now it's working out where the kids like playing, where we want to be and what is actually manageable!

Everyday we count our lucky stars that we've managed to manifest such an incredible home and place to share with friends.

Here stands stage one of our orchard. Fresh from Daleys. We were super excited about out soon to be grove and the kids were super excited about the cardboard boxes.

Just big enough to fit a small child in each one.

Happy days indeed.

How awesome is today!

Really - it doesn't get much sweeter. The sun is shining, I'm doing my permaculture homework (supposedly), starting a blog some friends encouraged me into and regularly staring out into blue skies.

Earlier on, I got to ride with my daughter to school and check out the motion on the ocean. I got to ride home and brew a cup of organic coffee. I got to do a lap around our awesome garden and check on the development of growing seeds.
